This page tracks three different flavors of winning streak:

  • Wins between consecutive losses,
  • Matches paired between consecutive losses, and
  • Wins between consecutive non-wins.

For example, suppose someone had a run of matches of the form L WWWWW D WW L. The three different methods of tabulating would consider this either (a) a streak of 6, (b) a streak of 7, or (c) a streak of 4 followed by a streak of 2. Because each of these may be of interest in different circumstances, I track all three below.

By default the entire dataset is used. There are holes in the data—GP and PT data get spotty at the 1999/2000 border, and there's five missing SCG weekends in late 2012 and early 2013. Some streaks are likely missing or incorrect because of this. Sadly Jim Harold went undefeated at GP Oslo 1999 but I have no previous results for him so I don't know how much longer that streak was.
